OC’s Longest Running Family Dance Studio

Since 1977, our established dance studio has been proud to offer instruction in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, acrobatics, and lyrical dance. Our highly trained instructors have years of experience teaching dance curriculum to students of all ages while also pursuing professional dance careers.

Some of our alumni are SAG/AFTRA performers, Clippers Spirit Dancers, Disneyland performers, and principal dancers in local dance companies. (Click “teachers” in the menu bar to read more)

We are proud to provide a positive atmosphere that encourages students to grow individually as well as a team. Our studio focuses on maintaining a family-friendly environment that promotes healthy competitiveness so our students may excel using learned technique and their own natural talent. The teaching team at MDT is thrilled to cultivate a path to achievement for all of its dancers!

Melodie’s Dance Theatre performs performs dances at events such as our annual Christmas recital, the OC Fair, OC Winterfest, Knott’s Berry Farm, and in regional and national dance competitions like Showstopper, Headliners, That’s Dancin’, and Professional Dance Network.

New students are welcome, no need to know a current MDT student to take advantage of one free class! Current MDT students have an opportunity to win a free private dance lesson by bringing a friend to dance class this fall! See promotion below for details.
